Ingredients
  

  • 1 (11-ounce) package Fresh Express® Creamy Goddess Chopped Salad Kit
  • 1/2 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated empanada dough (or use small round pie crusts)
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • In a skillet, cook onion and garlic over medium heat until softened. Add ground turkey, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook until browned and cooked through. Let cool slightly.
  • Spoon turkey mixture onto one half of each dough circle. Fold over and seal edges with a fork. Brush tops with egg wash.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, toss all ingredients from Fresh Express® Creamy Goddess Chopped Salad Kit until well combined.
  • Serve the warm empanadas with the creamy, flavorful salad on the side for a satisfying and complete meal.
