Fresh Express Partners with Chiquita and Planet Harvest

Fresh Express was proud to partner with Chiquita and Planet Harvest as part of the Fresh Communities Tour: From the Fields to America’s Cities, helping expand access to fresh food across Monterey County.

The Salinas activation brought together community organizations, volunteers, and local partners to distribute thousands of fresh food boxes filled with fresh produce, Fresh Express salad kits, Chiquita bananas, pantry staples, and recipe inspiration designed to help families create simple, nutritious meals at home.

As the “Salad Bowl of the World,” Salinas plays an important role in feeding families across America every day. For Fresh Express, supporting this community is deeply meaningful and reflects our commitment to making fresh, nutritious eating more accessible and convenient for families.

We are grateful to partner with Planet Harvest, Chiquita, Food Bank for Monterey County, Vineyard Church, Second Harvest Santa Cruz, Brighter Bites, and the many volunteers who helped bring this initiative to life.

The Fresh Communities Tour will continue throughout 2026 with additional community activations planned across the country.
