Farmhouse Ranch Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit Sliders
Sweet, spicy, and satisfyingly crunchy! These Farmhouse Ranch Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit Sliders are the ultimate bite-sized comfort food. Crispy fried chicken, drizzled with hot honey and topped with creamy Farmhouse Ranch salad, all tucked inside a fluffy biscuit. Perfect for sharing… or not.
Ingredients
- 1 (11.1-ounce) Fresh Express® Farmhouse Ranch Chopped Salad Kit
- 8 small buttermilk biscuits (store-bought or homemade), baked
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying (such as vegetable or canola)
For the Hot Honey:
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, adjust to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, beat the egg. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, coating evenly.
- Heat about 1/4-inch oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F), about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Warm until just heated through. Remove from heat.
- Place the greens from the Fresh Express® Farmhouse Ranch Chopped Salad Kit into a large bowl. Top with the included garlic brioche croutons and crispy garlic pepper onions. Drizzle with the included Farmhouse Ranch dressing and toss until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Slice each biscuit in half. Place a piece of fried chicken on the bottom half of each biscuit and drizzle with hot honey. Top with a spoonful of salad mix and the biscuit lid on top.
- Serve warm and enjoy immediately!
