Omaha SteaksĀ® Filet Mignon with Smokehouse Chopped Salad KitĀ®
Tender Omaha SteaksĀ® Filet Mignon meets the smoky BBQ flavors from Fresh ExpressĀ® Smokehouse Salad KitĀ®.
Ingredients
- 1 (10.5-ounce) package Fresh ExpressĀ® Smokehouse Chopped Salad KitĀ®
- 2 (8-ounce) each Omaha SteaksĀ® Filet MignonĀ
- 2 tablespoons steak seasoning
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
Instructions
- Heat a large saute pan to high heat, and season steaks with steak seasoning.
- Add oil to pan and place steaks in.Ā Do not move steaks to ensure a nice even sear.
- When crust has formed on steaks flip and sear again.
- When steak is cooked to desired doneness turn off heat and add in butter, fresh thyme, and garlic.
- Baste steaks with butter for 2 minutes and set aside.
- Place the lettuce from the Fresh ExpressĀ® Smokehouse Chopped Salad KitĀ®, along with the croutons, cheese and salad dressing into a large bowl; toss to combine.
- Serve filet mignon with Smokehouse Chopped Salad on the side.
