Christmas Tree Lemon Caesar Cheese Ball
This festive Christmas Tree Lemon Caesar Cheese Ball is a show-stopping holiday appetizer that combines the creamy tang of Caesar dressing with a zesty hint of lemon. Shaped like a charming Christmas tree, this flavorful centerpiece is perfect for spreading holiday cheer. Serve with crackers or fresh veggies for a delicious and delightful addition to your holiday table!
Ingredients
- 1 (9.1-ounce) package Fresh Express® Twisted Caesar Lemon Caesar Chopped Salad Kit®
- 3 (8-ounces) packages cream cheese, softened
- 4 (16-ounces) cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated onion
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard, dry
- 5 or 6 drops red pepper sauce
Have ready at serving time:
- 1/4 cup chopped red or yellow bell pepper
- Assorted crackers for serving
- Optional: sliced cheddar cheese or lemon peel for star
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, mustard, and pepper sauce until well combined.
- If making two trees, divide the mixture in half; if making one, leave the mixture whole. Refrigerate until firm enough to shape.
- Place the cheese mixture(s) on a cookie sheet. Shape each portion into a cone to resemble a Christmas tree, or form one large tree if preferred.
- Decorate the tree by arranging the iceberg lettuce, green leaf lettuce, dried cherries, and parmesan crisps from the Fresh Express® Twisted Caesar Lemon Caesar Chopped Salad Kit® to create ornaments and garlands. Add chopped red or yellow bell peppers for pops of color.
- Top each tree with a star shape cut from a slice of cheddar cheese or lemon peel.
- Serve with crackers and enjoy!
